Renovations completed at several hotels in NFPA's conference block

Several renovation projects have been completed at hotels in NFPA's conference block while others are still underway.  The Hilton Chicago completed phase one of a four-phase project in May of 2012.  I was there in early December and saw first hand how beautifully the new contemporary features blend with the venerable fixtures of this grand dame property.  Last month the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place announced phase two of a major expansion and renovation project.  NFPA attendees staying at this hotel will enjoy refreshed guestrooms (including closets with doors instead of a curtain!) and will be able to take advantage of increased capacity in several hotel restaurants.
