The 2012 NFPA Conference & Expo will be held June 11-14, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In preparation, the Call for Presentations is now open! NFPA invites you to become involved in its 2012 Conference by submitting a session proposal. All proposals must be received by September 12, 2011.

During today's NFPA Association Technical Meeting in Boston, the following action has taken place on NFPA 2001, Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems. 

• 2001-1 Motion to Return a portion of a Report in the form of Proposal 2001-24 and related Comment 2001-16 failed.
• 2001-2 Motion to Return a portion of a Report in the form of Proposal 2001-26 and related Comment 2001-17 passed, thereby returning the relevant text back to previous edition text.  As a result of this passing motion, there was a Follow-Up Motion to Accept Comment 2001-17 (Log 10).  This Follow-Up Motion to Accept Comment 2001-17 passed and therefore the original motion is modified such that the relevant text reflects the language of Comment 2001-17.
